SEYMOUR, Ind., Jan. 1, 2026 – SpaceGuard Products, a North American leader in wire mesh security solutions, is proud to announce that Eddie Murphy, President of SpaceGuard Products, has been named President of MHI for 2026, recognizing his long-standing leadership and contributions across the material handling and supply chain industry. In this role, Murphy will help guide MHI’s strategic direction, member engagement, and industry initiatives at a time of rapid transformation in automation, safety, and supply chain resilience.
Murphy’s appointment as MHI President follows years of active service within the organization, including tenure on the MHI Board of Governors and previous officer roles supporting the association’s mission to advance the material handling industry. As MHI President, he will work closely with MHI Chair Brian Reh, CEO of Gorbel Inc., Vice President Chris Becker, President of G.W. Becker, Inc., and the broader Board of Governors and Roundtable Advisory Committee.
