Panama Canal Facts
Every vessel traveling through the
Panama Canal is required to pay a toll.
Tolls are based on the weight of the
vessel. The largest toll to date was
recorded in 2008 by a Disney Cruise ship
for a total of $330,000. The smallest
toll dates back to 1928 when American
Explorer Richard Haliburton swam the
canal. His toll was 36 cents.
Scheduled for completion in 2014,
the expansion of the Panama Canal is
certain to change global freight
movement and open up new
opportunities. During

President, 2 New Sales Positions
SpaceGuard Products
has announced the appointment of
Eddie Murphy as its new President.
Eddie has served as the VP of Sales
& Marketing for SpaceGuard over the
last 4 years and will combine his
sales and manufacturing experience
to drive continued growth at
SpaceGuard.
To support Eddie's transition,

David Murphy succeeds as National
Sales Manager. David assumes
