RailGuard Mezzanine Handrail Safety Systems

RailGuard Mezzanine handrail safety systems by SpaceGuard Products present a safe, inexpensive alternative to traditional handrails. It's simple to install and the combination of our UNI-MESH woven wire and kick plates prevent objects from falling off the mezzanine surface causing potential costly accidents.
Panels are high integrity welded and available in special sizes. Single and double hinged gates are available in a number of sizes as well.

Specifications:
Panels are constructed of standard 10-gauge, 1 1/2" diamond pattern, triple crimped steel woven wire mesh securely welded to frames made of 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/8" roll formed angle, with all joints arc welded. Frames are equipped with 1 1/4" x 3/8" slotted holes for quick mounting to posts. Stiffeners bars made of 1/4" x 3/4" thick hot rolled flat stock are center located and tack welded to wire mesh and horizontal frames on panels 6' and 8' long.
Pull out panels are constructed of the same materials as panels. Furnished with u-shaped channels to bolt to the post on both sides to form guides for the panel. Standard widths are 3', 4' and 5'.
Kick plates are constructed of 3" x 1/8" hot rolled steel flat welded at the base of panel just above the bottom frame member.Top Rails are made of 2" x 2" x 14 gauge square tube drilled through two sides for through bolting to top of panels.
Posts are constructed of 14-gauge steel of 2" square tube with two 5/16" diameter holes drilled through each side to accept all hardware for panels and gates. Corner posts have a 4" x 4" x 3/16" steel flat base plate. Run posts have a 2" x 7" x 1/4" steel flat base. Side mount posts have a 2" x 7" x 1/4" steel flat base plate. All base plates are punched to accept two 3/8" diameter anchors.
Finish: Panels, gates, and posts are phosphate washed with a standard finish of polyester powder coat in high quality gray. Also available in 5 additional standard colors (black, yellow, red, blue, and green) or you can contact our sales team for information regarding custom color matches.
